I totally misread the charts! The plain row was not on the chart and I missed the written instruction that every other row should be plain knit. The row numbers on the chart were too small for me to see. So, the socks are not quite as designed, but the overall effect is very similar. On a happier note, Rhonda tried them on and they fit perfectly. Yay!

I had trouble with the short rowed heel. There was a M1 after every turn and I botched all of them. I need to either learn to actually knit an SRHeel or I need to use a heel that I know how to do. SMH.
