This is the “warm up” sock for the 2017 Scary Sock thing. Can’t recall off the top of my head how many socks are included, but it looks like fun so far.

It’s very hot and my hands are sweating badly so I’m not making much progress.

9-12-17 Ah - cooler weather so I stayed up all night working on my socks! Only a few rows left for the cuff, then done!

9-13-17 Finished! Sewn bind off and beauty pix! I’m glad I knit this sock in a solid color - the cables are all 2 sts wide, so subtle and they would have been lost in a busy yarn. I did actual cabling all the way thru, none of this knitting sts out of order and slipping off together. Does that make me a cable snob?
