my first project for the GAL2015 and my hat is the 2nd project for this pattern! So far I’m loving it. I chose to start with this hat cuz it uses bulky yarn and I wanted to start with a fast project to get my mojo working.

Only problem - I’ve been knitting socks on tiny needles and I found the change from 2.50mm to 6.0mm more than my hands could handle easily. Had to take many breaks due to numbness in left hand. Long time since that’s happened to me.

I decided to make a pompom for it - seems to really finish it off!
