This hat worked much better for me on size 8 needles. I used Willow Wash in Aruba Blue and I just might have to keep this hat for myself!!

It came out a bit too long IMO. To get a beanie fit, I have to fold up the ribbing and that hides the wonder start of the cabling. sad face I may have to make this again with no ribbing - OH NO!!

I knit this hat exactly according to instructions (except for needle size) and found no mistakes or unclear parts. What a nice experience from a free pattern!
