I’ve been using size 6 needles with this Spinrite cotton for picture cloths and it excels at that gauge, but for cables, the fabric is a bit stiff and would benefit from size 7 needles. This is a pattern from a hitherto unknown designer - I like it a lot and will look for more of her patterns.
