Wanted a quick knit before surgery in 3 weeks. Love this pattern and I’m a sucker for lace and cables.

JMCO - 14 each needle, inc to 52 st using gusset toe shaping. Start pattern 3-1/2” from toe. Start inc for gusset 6-1/2” from toe.

I put these aside while I did the Mirkwoods which were cuff-down with a Strong heel and when I got to the gusset increases on these I made the increases at the edge of the original sole sts instead of at the edge of the 2nd needle! So the first sock has increases up the junction of the needles and the 2nd sock has the increases a quarter of the way in from the edges of the sole needle. They both fit fine, tho.
