Well, darn! The hat came out way too small for any adult head, so it won’t be suitable for D’s b-day. I like the pattern, tho, so I may try it again in worsted wt on larger needles.

I wanted to make a hat for Darrell’s b-day and saw this yarn peeking out of a bin. Pretty blue-gray in DK wt and I love cables. I reckon it gets a lot colder in ID than in CA, so a hat is the obvious choice.
