My first time making this pattern. I like it OK - it’s knit in the round and has some short row shaping going on in the back to make room for a diaper. The pattern calls for size US6 & 8 needles - next time I make them I’ll use US 5 & 7 instead. I think the soakers came out a bit loose and a tiny bit too large for a newborn. I guess that depends on how large the baby is when born, eh? :)

The yarns I used felt a tiny big smaller than some worsted weight yarns out there - perhaps a more robust yarn would have made a larger soaker. Sadly, I still have enough of the brown yarn left over to make another soaker! Or maybe I’ll just use it for trim, eh?
