I modified this stitch slightly by using hdc instead of dc alternating with sc.

The lemon peel st and pebble st are made the same - a sc and dc are made in the same st, sk 1 st, repeat. On the return row, the sc &dc are made in the dc and the sc is skipped.

So many crochet sts have the same name! It’s very confusing.
