Melanie chose the pattern and sent me the yarn to knit Emilie a new Xmas sweater. I just love the Cascade 220 Superwash Wool! It’s so yummy! I don’t have a “real” yarn store here - just Joann’s, Michael’s and Walmart. No Cascade yarns there!

Anyway, I couldn’t
find my size 7 tips in the KnitPicks set, so I had to send for more tips in that size. I’m trying to do the back on bamboo straights, but I suspect that the grabby bamboo is going to produce a different fabric than the slick nickel plated KPs. Am hoping a wash will even out the fabric.

In the end I was not able to finish the sweater. The violet color was too deep for me to be able to see to sew it together. sigh I wound up sending the pieces back to Melanie so she could finish it up.
