I misread the instructions for this potholder. The pattern calls for a size K afghan hook and I thought that was way too big for worsted wt cotton. LOL - it also calls for using two strands of yarn at a time and I missed that. I used a size H/8/4.5mm hook and only one strand of yarn. I made two potholders and sewed them together to get a thick enough potholder for use. Silly me!
