Notes

9-24-10

I fell in love with this pastel throw when I saw the free pattern sheet. I bought Lion Brand Pound of Love to use for it, since I wanted it to be “baby-soft.” I will be using White, Blue, Pink, Green and Yellow, since I couldn’t find any pastel purple yarn. I need to go back and get some purple. My fave, doncha know? :)

I’ve made 3 yellow squares so far and it’s working up nicely. I’m gonna switch to another color now and only do 3 or 4 of each color before I start sewing them together. I may leave off the last row across, so that it’s 6x6 rather than 6x7 squares. I think it will be a bit too large for a baby throw in the original size.

9-25 Phooey. I worked too long on this last night/yesterday and I’m blind now. Tried to do some white squares and couldn’t see anything. Will have to rest for a day or so till my eyes rest up.

10-05-10
have finished all the squares and started slip stitching them together. Have finished the 6 strips of 6 squares, and put together 4 of them. Am having a bit of trouble seeing where to put the hook, but not too bad. My vision comes and goes. :(
