I’m gonna knit this pattern toe-up since the yardage on sport wt yarn is tight - only 150 yds/50 gr vs 220 yds for fingering weight. I’m gonna try a Fleegle heel, too, since that seems to be the big thing for toe-up socks these days.

I’m surprised! I knit the Fleegle heels as per instructions and the socks fit my feet - even the deformed one! Of course, there is no reinforcement where the heel contacts the shoe, so I don’t know how well these socks will wear.
