My friend Karen in the 52 weeks group figured out how to correct this pattern, so I made the cloth again. I’ll put the corrections in the pattern page and send them to Premier Yarns.

Speckle Stitch (multiple of 2 sts + 1)
R1: With B, K1,/sl 1 wyib, k1, repeat from / across
R2: With B, purl across
R3: With A, K1, /k1, sl 1 wyib; repeat from / across
R4: With A, purl across

Repeat rows 1-4 for pattern

Because this cloth is basically stockinette st, it curls. I would add a garter st or seed st border next time I make it. I actually enjoyed the pattern this time. :)
