This is my second time using this pattern - I love the shape of the final shawl, being so long and narrow, it works really well as a scarf and even turns out to be trendy enough for teenage relatives. A very confidence inspiring project for a beginner lace knitter.
The yarn is my own spinning of Polwarth fleece dyed rather randomly with Japanese Indigo, bit of coreopsis and finally, dunked in a chamomile afterbath. This time, I think things worked out well. Blog about dyeing.
