Yarnbombing Tulsa Phase One

Project info
Knitting
Needles & yarn
Notes

5/23 Phase One is complete. I finished up with stitching the last piece to the pole. Since it was daylight and many cars were stopping at the corner, it was quite embarrassing. I’m sure the rest of the summer will lead to me getting over this particular sensation.

5/10 Put the tag on my best friend’s windshield wiper. I thought she had a chrome bumper with space for me to tie one around, turns out that’s her fiance’s car. Anyway, I put it on the windshield wiper and now she takes it off each time she drives and puts it back on when she parks.

4/20 I have decided that for the time being, I am bored of socks being my bus ride projects. Therefore I shall brighten my own day by yarn bombing things I see during my bus ride. If it brightens anyone else’s day, awesome.

The flowers dangling from the creek bridge were dipped in water resistant découpage mixture to hopefully help them keep their shape in the rain, though I imagine soon it will simply look like pompoms hanging on a string.
