I’m crocheting along with my favourite hockey team - the Calgary Flames - as they play towards the Stanley Cup!

I crocheted the hat the day before playoffs started and will be working on the beard as long as my team is playing. I am using Sarah Zimmerman’s earflap hat as a base and Ashley Prisbrey’s bobble beard as the beard base. As the games go on I will be adding more sections of beard.

April 14 - hat completed.
April 15 - Flames win! First beard section completed.
April 17 - Vancouver wins but the beard grows.
April 19 - Flames win at home!!
