Am planning to make for my Grandma’s birthday as a sort of table runner for a china hutch.

Started with 112g.

7/15 Tried to start project, but ended up having to tear back everything. I had tried to put stitch markers between the repeats and only later realized that the knitted row is shifted one stitch and didn’t work out.
7/16 Started again fresh in the morning. Have completed Row 8 of Chart A. I think I’ve gotten the hang of putting the beads on by now, but don’t really enjoy putting them on.
7/21 Finished chart A. 104 g remaining
8/7 Have completed the edging and about 12” for the top of the buffet. 83g remaining. Buffet is 42” across.
8/13 Finally got done with side 1. 79g rem. Completed row 5 of chart A.
8/15 completed Chart B. 63g remaining. Only another 23 inches to go before my Gma’s birthday on the 21st!
8/16 have completed 13.5” of side 2. 16.5” to go!
8/17 Have completed 17” of side 2. 13” to go. Hope to finish tomorrow, but we’ll have to see how that goes…
8/18 ugh, still 3” to go :/
9/18 Hoped to finish in the morning, but ran out of time. Am part way through the grafting. I really hope that I won’t have any dropped stitches after the process….
9/19 FINALLY finished after work. Surprisingly, the grafting went VERY well and I didn’t have any dropped stitches!! Out blocking. Hoping to mail out tomorrow morning. 32 g remaining.

Turned out about 88” after blocking, which is a little too long for the 42” buffet that I was trying to make this for… I’m sure my Grandma will be able to find some place for it though.

Looks like after blocking it grew from 60 to 88”, about 150% of original.
