This set was made for my friend’s new twin grand babies. A boy and a girl! What fun! I cast on as soon as the little ones made their arrival. The twins, a boy and a girl, will be dressed in style.

I used the same pattern for both brother and sister and changed the colour. The twins arrived way too early, so I stitched these in hurry. Both are doing very well, in spite of their early entry into the world.

I inherited my grandmother’s stash of patterns. This particular set was knitted by her often. She gifted a sweater, bonnet, and booties to all the babies in her life, including myself and my daughters. It is up to me to keep the tradition going.
