These are my Februrary 2015 socks and the second in my quest to knit a pair of socks each and every month in 2015. The idea is to pick a random pattern and choose a random yarn from my pattern and yarn stashes each month. I’ll end up with 12 pairs by the end of the year.

The pattern is simple, but I adjusted it a wee bit. I knit 5 inches of 1x1 ribbing for the leg, which results in a nice turned down cuff. I do prefer ankle socks!

This pair also features my favourite heel - the gusset heel. It is easily stitched and comfortable. The result is less bulk at the heel.
