Notes

2.5mm Addi mini circular.
Been swatching to check my yarn and play around with the picot edging - had to change to using dpn’s, as just not possible with my Addi mini.

Roll on 27th Jan for the CO :-)

Using silver-lined teal beads in size 8??

Only going to do 2 repeats + 10 rows, then start on heel flap as I prefer a shorter sock. As other knitters have said, they do appear large to start off with, but if you persevere they do become more fitted, the more you knit the pattern. Starting rows with a purl is always quite loose, so I make sure I give the yarn an extra tug!

As I was decreasing for the gusset I forgot to stop, so went to 15sts instead of 18. Actually made a nice fitting foot. I did 3 repeats for the foot + 5 rounds of knit st, then reduced for the toe.

Also got shown how to cable without a cable needle, which really speed up the process!
