Notes

Well, I have re-named this sweater, Marie Antoinette because I worked the hood twice. I hated it each time so I put an attached i-cord edge on the neck, which seemed to work well with the i-cord tie and all the baubles. I just HAD to chop her head off. I couldn’t deal with trying the hood again.

I wore it a few times this week and got astonished looks, when after receiving a complement, I said that I made it.

The Wick yarn has a much nicer hand following a good soak and blocking. It was a little stiff before.

If you’re going to use Wick, be sure your hands are in the same condition as if for using silk yarn. Wick will snag on uneven cuticles etc.

I worked the sleeves at the same time (hate doing the 2nd sleeve) and worked the back and front at the same time until their instructions differed.
