I used the magic loop method for knitting in the round.

The pumpkin is so cute! The leaf and little twirly green spring are a nice touch.

The ribs of the pumpkin were not super visible, so after completing the pumpkin, I used some yarn to cinch in the purl columns. This made it look more like a pumpkin.
