I made two versions of this hat. The first time, I had 5 rows of ribbing. That wound up too short. I undid the project and knit the brim with the 10 rows suggested in the pattern, and the fit is much better.

The pattern is fun to knit - just intricate enough to keep my attention, but intuitive enough that I could zone out a little and still follow easily.
