I started this out as an improvised item, but it turned out there was enough yarn to make a slightly modified Holden from it.

Modifications:

• 2 instead of 3 stitches on the outer edges
• only 163 stitches on the needle before starting the lace section
• only one full 16 rows of lace pattern plus 6 rows
• alternating colors in the lace section
• picot modified to 2 knit cast-on and 4 bind-offs
