I spontaneously decided that it ould be a good idea to buy a sturdy metal hook and start working on those masses of recycled shirts yarn I still have in stock. It works out fine so far, but as many of my fellow co-crocheters have written… crocheting a carpet from shirt scraps is hard physical work. I managed to finish 8 out of 18 rows.

My hands are still hurting, ack!

Update: will halt the project in row 9. I am out of white-ish material in the middle of a row, so I will try to find some extra white yarn to finish this up, even if it does not reach full size.

Finished at row 11, it toom a while to find a matching skein.
