I have used this yarn before in red for another scarf. In the first attempt, I had to redo the scarf three times, due to the fact that Zeeman gives no advice on how many stitches one chould use.

To create a typical effect yarn scarf in the pure garter stitch pattern, the way these scarfs are usually done, I finally came up with 4 stitches per row (I started with 10as with most ruffle scarfs).
