Notes

I originally discovered Purl Soho online when I was searching for Koigu yarn, and I ordered a bunch of KPPPM from their website for my first Alligator Wrap. On one of my subsequent trips to New York, I made a pilgrimage to the store and left with a bunch of this beautiful grape-and-straw colorway of Manos del Uruguay with no particular plan of what to use it for.

After a Ravelry search, I decided to knit the Prismatic Scarf. In the project pages for this pattern, I found texturedknitter’s scarf in which she changed the purl stitches on the wrong side to slip stitches and liked the effect, so I did the same. Later, I figured out how to make a more nearly reversible rendition.

I’ve tended toward fringeless scarves recently, but I decided to try out a fringe on this, and I really love the effect of the thick and thin Wool Clasica.
