Each summer I end up knitting a Stephen West shawl and I almost always take it as a vacation project. This year it’s our “great train adventure” to Halifax.

Cast off loosely on the bigger needles to make sure the edge would be stretchy enough.

Pre-blocking: 15” high (top to bottom down the center spine) and 30” wingspan.
Post-blocking: 23” high and 53” wingspan.
