Notes

Vashti Braha’s pattern makes a really striking shrug. I absolutely love how it looks and fits, and I get lots of compliments when I wear it! The slip stitch ribbing is absolutely luscious. The Ella Rae yarn was wonderful to work with - soft and cushy, with great definition. Pattern requires some figuring out in places, so I would not consider it a beginner pattern.
TIP: start/end rows in slip stitch ribbing with all yarn ends on one side - attach back pattern stitches to side with yarn ends and weave ends into pattern stitches (rather than ribbing). This will ensure ribbing is not distorted by weaving yarn ends into it.
