Simple and quick to make, well written pattern with charts. I started this, then set it aside while I finished other projects. Modified increase and decrease edges using a Y stitch (only 3 legs of the X-stitch) at beginning and end of rows, and at beginning and ends of even rows I did a trc (or maybe a quadruple ch?) to get a more finished edge (thinking ahead to the type of border I wanted to do). Didn’t do the lacy border as in the pattern - too fluffy for the look I wanted for this shrug. Did decreases in the last 3 rows to get a curved shape at bottom corners of shrug. Did chain 7 loops around edge, then in each ch7 loop did “4 sc, then 3 sc in 4th ch of ch7 loop, then 3 more sc in each ch7 sp” for a triangle-like edging. Maybe a hdc in center st would have made triangle edging more pointed? I’ll have to try that next time.
