After 7 repeats, measured about 44” before blocking. Decided to put sts on a lifeline and block it to get a sense of whether I want another repeat. Measured 14” across and 48” long on blocking board.

Broke into 3rd skein of main color for the last few rows of 7th repeat. Added 8th repeat.

Knit 6 rows garter stitch.
With ws facing, from right to left and back to front, picked up 58 sts on cast on edge.
Garter kitchener stitch with WS together.

Wish the pattern had more specific seaming instructions. Spent an hour figuring out a way to join without seaming, like the garter kitchener just fine.
