Notes

Starting with three stitches cast on, then adding a stitch to both ends of each row. Alternating the Dianthe hot pink with breaks of variagated Cabbage Patch in a garter/stockinette combo. I probably used about 1/3 of each skein by the time I finished.

The cable on my Denise Interchangeable knitting needles really got in the way on this project. As the project grew I ended up having to wrestle my stitches back and forth instead of the stitches sliding easily along the cable. This is because the cable for this set of needles is rather thick and inflexible. Unfortunately there isn’t another style of cable I could’ve used with this set.

I bound off using an i-cord bind off and really liked the effect it gave the edging. The size of the scarf was small, so I gifted it to my niece for her 4th birthday.
