After experimenting with how many stitches to cast on, I went with 26 stitches on the blue one and 31 stitches on the red one. On the red cozie, after 5-6 rows I began increasing 4 stitches on one round, then two rows of stockinette, then 4 increases, then two rows of stockinette. I did this sequence a total of 4 times before beginning decreases of 4 per row, then 2 rows of stockinette. I did three sequences like this before I began k2tog until I had 8 stitches left. I transferred these live stitches to a darning needle and pulled them together to close up the cozie, then wove in my ends. I didn’t really decrease stitches in the blue one, I just gathered the bottom and stitches it close with the tail.
