I thoroughly enjoyed knitting the Buddleia! The pattern is clear and concise and beautiful. The designer includes video links for some of the more complicated stitches which makes it a perfect project for beginning lace knitters (like me!) but has enough interest for the more advanced knitter. The pattern is easily memorized which makes it a very lovely portable project.

I appreciate that she includes a chart as well as written instructions for the lace. Annie (the designer) was totally accessible and friendly when I had questions as well. So helpful!

I LOVE the finished product. It will be perfect over a fancy dress or just to wear on a cold day with jeans and a t-shirt.

I knit this with some GORGEOUS By Annie Claire naturally dyed organic wool in Dock Root from her 2012 Summer Collection. LOVE…LOVE…DOUBLE LOVE. It smells SO nice and I love the stitch definition. You can tell that a lot of love went into the yarn and that it came from some pretty happy sheep! :)

Ok…now I want to make another one… I think it would be so cute in some chunky yarn…. hmm…
