Pattern is very easy to follow - great while catching up on TV or movies! The texture is thick, not quite as thick as bobbles, but close!

The border was modified from Edie Eckman’s Around the Corner # 52. But I modified the first row - instead of dc in each stitch around, I placed 2 dc in each stitch around (dc increase.) Then followed as written.
