Notes

I started with the Graham Hat here on Ravelry but after doing the ribbing, I decided not to do the broken rib - I just knitted in stockinette until I had the beanie length I wanted. Quick method - I knit this on size 8, 16” circular needles:

co 96 stitches
join to work in the round
k1p1 and repeat until ribbing measures 2.5”
knit until hat measures 7.5” or 8” for a larger head
knit a round, placing markers every 12 sts
decrease by knitting until 2 sts left before a marker; k2tog
repeat until you can no longer knit on circulars
cut tail and thread through remaining sts
weave in ends, add pom pom
