This is a (5,3) torus knot embedded on a torus. So, it goes around the meridian 5 times and the longitude 3 times, all without crossing itself on the surface of the torus.

The yarn is amazingly gorgeous. Mom gave me a baby tulip sweater kit (sans pattern) as a gift because I’d been lusting after Dream in Color for so long. And she knew I would make mathematical objects out of it. An excellent mom, indeed.

In the middle of knitting the torus, I realized I was going to run out of the Happy Forest. I had to ask around here to see if I could score a small amount, and thankfully Reedplayer had a bit extra she was able to send, and it matched perfectly!!
