I changed a bit in the parts with the triangles so as to not leave any holes in the top of the hat. I also did the ending before the brim differently, continuing to work in the round instead of turning back and forth, and decreased every “valley” to the point of having only 60 stitches. Once I got to the brim, I worked it by using fphdc and bphdc instead of how it was written in the pattern, and I crocheted a flower instead of using a button.
