07NOV2013 - After reading other peoples’ notes, I decided to go back to row 11 after row 40 for an extra repeat.

10NOV2013 - Last night, I was NOT happy with how the hat was turning out, so I pulled it all apart, changed from Knit Pick’s Swish Sport to Knit Pick’s Andean Silk and did a ribbed brim instead of a rolled one. With the heavier weight yarn, I was okay with omitting the extra repeat. Like others, I muddled through my own dea creases, as they were not charted, and the written instructions did not seem to mesh with the charted ones.
