2/28/12 I’m almost done. Need to slightly block and put the buttons on. First I have to find buttons that will work. And I screwed up on the button hole so I need to do a little work on that. But overall I’m very very happy w/ the yarn, pattern and size. I’d definitely do this pattern again but maybe add a little another cable or just a little more embellishment.

1/23/12 Was working on the Sample Afghan and realized there is NO WAY I’m going to finish that for my grandmother by next month when I plan on seeing her. She’s sick in the care home so I needed something to bring to her. So this looks good quick and easy. I can’t knit her a shaw since she’d saw “Shaws are for old ladies” ….she 83 I guess she’s not old enough for them. So I know better. So a wrap it is. Love the yarn so far. It’s very soft. Wish I had another color but that’s what I have in my stash.
