1/24/2011 - This is my first attempt at a bag. I joined the Bag-a-month Club, and I believe this is the January bag. So far it’s been a challenge - I had some trouble reading the pattern, but I don’t know if that’s me or the pattern. I’m on track now, and making good progress.

2/4/2011 - I finished my bag! There are a few things I would change if I were to do it again - for one thing, I would pick up the stitches along the sides with knitting needles instead of a crochet hook. I might also try knitting I cord handles instead of crocheting, but that would take some figuring, so I’m not sure. Overall, I love this bag! Instead of lining it I just used a Kangaroo Keeper. (I found it at WalMart for $9.88.)
