The lacy stitch pattern isn’t difficult but does require concentration, as regular decreases mean you need to allow for different stitch numbers in the lacey panels.

This took barely more than 1 ball; only a very little of the second ball was used.

As the neck ribbing is knit as the last part of the yoke (rather than picking up stitches and working the ribbing), I didn’t cut the yarn after casting off. I used the yarn to then immediately pick up the stitches down the left front. This meant there were two less ends for me to weave in.

When knitting the sleeves I found a possible error in row 2 of the raglan shaping. I emailed Sirdar to check, and yes, there is an error, as follows:

In the instructions for 2nd row, under the section “Shape Raglan”, it says “Cast off 3 3:3:4:4:5 sts,…… k3 4:6:7:0:1.” That last instruction should be p3 4:6:7:0:1, ie purl, not knit. Otherwise the end few stitches will be out of sync with the pattern.
