Decided on the following for the colors:
Color A - dark green
Color B - Periwinkle
Color C - teal
Color D - pink
Color E - light green

I am now up to the fourth repeat of row 5-8 (not on the divider section). The shape is quite odd….maybe supposed to be a tail?

7/15/13
Finished the stripes section with colors A and B. Turned out to be a rectangle with the stripes running across diagonally. Stopping project now to let friend catch up, and on Saturday we will use color C and pick up on the short sides.
Also decided to make Color C pink, and Color D teal.

7/19/14
Friend helped me pick up the pink stitches on one side of work, and just finished the bobble’s on the piece. Decided that I don’t like picking stitches up on diagonal garter stitch, nor so I like doing bobbles.

The bobbles look like nipples. I am going to fix them somehow today.

7/21/14 (Actually, midnight on the 20 :P)
Just fixed the bobbles/nipples to look nicer. So I k1, (yo,k1) * 3 so there was 7 stitches in the 1 stitch that was to have a bobble, transferred all 7 stitches to the left needle, and then transferred them to a 2.75 mm crochet hook, and pulled yarn through all of the 7 stitches (I couldn’t pull the right needle through all of the 7 stitches at once, so I used the hook. It also made all the loops smaller and more uniform doing it this way.
So, I have managed to finish the first clue!

About to sit down to attack the second clue, or as I call it, lace from hell.
Colors are thus:
Color A - dark green
Color B - Periwinkle
Color C - pink
Color D - teal
Color E - light green
