October 18th, 2013:
Time for Quidditch! Topic: What do I do to calm my nerves?

September 30th:
3 squares were knitted and will be given this upcoming Thursday at the Loosely Knit Group.
Top left: Ollivander’s Wand Shoppe
Top right: Magical Menagerie
Bottom middle: Potage’s Cauldron Shop

September 1st:
Knitted up a slightly different version by adding a handle with the excess yarn that was left over after binding off by crocheting a chain and slip stitching. It matches the wine-bottle shaped cheese server perfectly! Best of all, I saved weaving in the ends for last so I could turn it in as September 2013 Detention homework at the Leaky Cauldron.

July 31st:
My carpal tunnel truly did me in! When I gave birth 4 weeks early in June, I had to stop in the midst of knitting 3 of the washcloths until 2 weeks ago. At the time I was trying to knit 3 at a time and was unsuccessful at keeping the pattern’s stitch count for each one straight.

Henceforth, the first 3 washcloths are being turned in for July Detention and the other 6 for July classes:
Care of Magical Creatures: lethifold
Divination: Reading Phoenix Ashes
Defense against the Dark Arts: Basilisk
Herbology: Whomping Willow
History of Magic: Giffard Abbott
Transfiguration: furniture or house item

Spring 2013 Arithmancy OWL Attempt
Option 2: Create multiples (at least 8) of the same object.

Many long-distance friends and family generously gave gifts to CraftyWineaux and me for our baby shower held this past May 18th. It only seems fitting that a hand-knitted “Thank you!” be sent in return along with the grateful note.

Each agonizing cotton square measures about 9-inches tall/wide and uses up 32 grams. Due to the painful carpal tunnel I have been experiencing in this pregnancy, I will do my best to use up all of the shown cotton yarn. The expected number (with allowance for knots in the skeins) should be 20 squares by end of the final period, with 10 squares finished by the halfway point.
