Began pattern in September 2012 using Hello Yarn fingering sock in Hot Peppers, but am now frogging it to change to another yarn instead…

November 16, 2013:
Had 2 more false starts, in which one continued to become a gift for the person who inspires me to drive towards my dreams.

July 4th, 2014:
Finally I have narrowed down which yarn I will use. Best yet is that I’m vowing to finish this for Quidditch Q18 Finals too.

Totally forgot about a pal’s upcoming birthday She had selected a yarn from my stash and I think this pattern is perfect for it.

Casting on! I am starting with 142g of the teal.

Knitting all done. Now to find the time to block and weave in the ends.

Initial blocking and pinning done. I still need to stretch out the shoulder corners of the shawlette to maximize the lace pattern.
