I spotted this free pattern on Facebook, and could not resist the opportunity to use some bulky merino in my stash. After not working the last repeat set because I thought I was going to run out of yarn, I realized that I had plenty to knit the hat in its entirety. So this would have been knitted in a day if I had not decided to frog back from 2 rounds for the bindoff.
