Notes

Used US6 (4.25mm) needles to create a more snug-fitting pair of mittens for my small hands. Also, I wanted to knit these with the half skein of yarn leftover from my Bowline Hat.

Additionally, I used a provisional cast-on and then picked up the stitches and knitted an i-cord bind-off at the end.

The result (with the combination of yarn and needles) is a much lighter-weight pair of mittens that I can probably only wear as late as deep fall and early winter, here in Stockholm, Sweden. (I’m sure I’m being very optimistic. The temperatures will probably go below zero very soon.)

Can I just say that I absolutely love this pattern? So simple and yet so beautiful.
