NOTE: I stopped one CC stripe short (on the large size) because I ran out of yarn. Seems like I needed closer to 500 yards in MC and CC for the large size.

FINISHED! Ends are woven. Just need to wait for my blocking wire to arrive so I can block it properly.

Finally got to the lace edging. Had a lot of trouble figuring out how exactly the pattern was being worked and I had to rip back three times. Apparently I need a clear indication that the lace wasn’t worked across all the stitches at once. I also could have use a better chart, or at least something saying “read the written pattern FIRST! Then you can use the chart.”
But now that all mistakes are past and I’m well into the edging, I totally get it and it’s quite a simple pattern to follow.

Never before have I been so excited to start a project.

After clicking around in excel for a while, I finally made a decision on the color scheme for this shawl.
