Notes

The pattern is great as is, these notes are slight changes that made it work better for me.

  • Working the cast on and first round like you are working i-cord and adding the extra needles on rnd 2 makes the beginning much easier.

  • I found that skipping rnd 20 and pulling the yarn through the stitches after rnd 19 made a cleaner finish.

  • I was making a lot of cookies so I added the chocolate chips after the entire cookie was made so I could do a bunch at once. For my purposes it was quicker than stopping after rnd 13 and didn’t make them more difficult (just make sure to pass the needle between the layers so as not to have your chips coming through the bottom.)

  • My chocolate chips are French knots.
